That sounds dialed in to me. I don't have an accurate water pressure gauge on the dash. The one on the intake is though. I'll have to see if mine stays at 18 all the time. I have looked at it at 70 but not high 80's. All of my water dump fittings have a 1" ID.
How is your oil temps. This is something I may have to work on this summer. Will probably need a oil stat.
