Default fuel pump cam question

I just pulled both screws out of my fuel pump cam housings to check the oil in them one had black gear oil come out the other had about 10 seconds of raw gas dripping out, they have been sitting for 8 months since last run and i do run royal purple 75/90 synthetic ger oil in them but the one leaking gas is that a sign of a bad diaphram in that fuel pump to leak gas into the oil compartment the cam runs in.

Thanks

Yes, bad pump. Change it, then fill with oil, run a while, then change the oil again to flush gas & any metal out. Gas is bad for the bearings inside. My PO ran mine for a while, and it required a rebuild.
