Default 502... ?

I have a 502 short block so far and I am looking for a good combo. The short block is basicly a 502 mag bottom end.I was thinking of running WP merlin 310cc 225 188 heads,Crane 113971cam226/236dur.@50 587/610 lift with a 112 cl,850cfm holleyDP with a ? for a intake(Single or dual plane). The only thing I will not have this year is good exhaust. Is this cam and heads too big for stock exhaust ?I want to try to get a happy medium where I can build the engine to where I can run stock exhaust this year and make good with better exhaust next year without doing any changes(.Looking for the best bang for the buck)
Thanks
Dave ...Aka Slow Guy

Check that cam # and re-post. Make sure you look at the specs of the one you posted

I can't say anything bad thats the cam I'm installing in my motors Couple more weeks and I'll have a answer.

BTW HP500 carbs a lot of head work and a tad bit more compression.

I will post all my results when I'm finished. Sorry I can't answer your question about the stock manifolds. If you plan on replacing them next year it may be a logical choice. I guess the worst thing is that it could be some what restricted till the change over. Scott
