Paging Scott72
Scott I was running a friends 850 Holley with Mech 2nds.
That produced the best dyno run.
It was not even an HP series, but it performed very well.
From lowend to higher rpms.
I would say a good place to start ,if you have an 850 already.
Stock power valves (new)
32-34 Squriters get a few ( I have 35s on my right know)
80s in front and 82s in rear (jets)
I am going to run the boat with a 750 Holley Vac 2nds first.
Then run my 850 Holley with 35 Squirters 80s and 82s
I will also try the 850 with 82s and 84s
I still have alot to learn about carb's.
The best advice on carbs buy new if you have some extra cash
Deamon or Holley
I did have a Deamon on my old motor and it ran great and looks much cooler than the Holley's
Sorry I could not be more accurate on the 850 I ran on the dyno
I was wanting to match those numbers myself.
Thanks Nobuget
