Default Promax 300X vs Promax 300

Hi!

I plan to buy a new 2003 Promax 300X to replace my 1999 Promax 300. What gain can be expected. Any experiences?

I have a Phantom 25 offshore hull - 2300-2400 pounds with engine and driver. Max speed ideal conditions - 78 mph at 6.100 rpms - blueprinted Tempest 26. Normal conditions - 76 mph at 6.000 rpms.

Is the new Torquemaster as fast as the old version (without frontal waterinlets at the bullet)?

Cheers and thanks, Toffen G

The 300X has about 35 to 40 HP more than the 300's. Some guys have picked up 5-7mph
