I forgot about the mechanic having to remove the Bimini Top from the engine bay, AND remove the tray assembly that Formula builds into the boat to hold it......it takes up considerable room in the engine bay & must be removed to work on practically anything. This is a very tight engine bay anyway......... bottom line is this:
$200.00 total cost took 4.5 hrs labor
Not cheap by some standards, but at least it's done so when I go to the lake Thursday.....that is one day I do NOT have to work on the boat. My ATV/Motorcycle mechanic charges more than that!!

Obviously you overlooked the fact that I am 100 miles away from the boat. I do not have "net access" where my boat is, I do have my priorities straight!!
If it took a mechanic 4.5 hours, & I was on the net a total of 1.5 hrs, then we have a 3 hour shortfall. Bottom line is that he was there.... & I am not!!

SHIAT, I can do that left handed when I am really fired up. I tell ya, I used to have a big brick looking Nextel Cell Phone and that ma-hockey took a few journeys!! I swear I got about $200 worth of tools in the woods.
I miss being around as well, I'll get on the board more as fall comes around. Later, take'er slooowwwww. A4
B-f, if it made your life easier, it was probably worth the $200. LAter.
