Lost Gasket
Has anyone found and have a part # for the intake gasket that Dennis Moore's book talks about, it's the 7400Vortech engine.Made of plastic that has a high tech rubber-like material outlining the intake and water passage.I found what looks like it in the GM high per. book but it is with the small block stuff.

It sounds like what you want is the FelPro gaskets with the "printoseal". They have a small bead of blue silicone type material around all the ports. Not sure of the part # you will need with a 7400 Vortech engine. Try www.summitracing .com and you might be able to find a part # or give Summit a call at 1-800-230-3030. Even there people on the phones are pretty knowledgable.

Griff If you believe Dennis Moore there are three gaskets that will work. The best is the one I am looking for it' like O rings with a holder and you use some weird studs that have a half circle on them so you can't crush the O rings to much. The second is the GM gasket #12506106 for rect.ports which is multilayered graphite sandwiching a steel core and they are imbossed around the ports and then the felpro with printoseal.
