Serpentine belt
OK, BAM site says one part #, a guy there says 863-8766, so I climbed in the boat it is a 57-861049-1DF, according to Bam that is for a 1998 502.
My engine is a 2001 502 MAG 0M-serial number, one of the last ones made...
Do I have to buy a $70 Merc belt? What is everyone else using?

Try your local NAPA store. They carry marine stuff too. Or just bring your old belt to the local auto parts store and have them measure it for ya and get the same size that way. Shouldnt be too hard to do either way.
