What do u mean quality parts in a high hp boat engine!!!. It's the same parts man. There just in a boat. A good merc engine is nothing more than a race engine bottom end with non race topend parts. They grind cams to maxizmise power in the rpm they want to run the engine. Take a 500 hp carb merc put on a set of good aluminum heads and hit the lake. U will **** your pants in the difference i garante it. Forged crank rods and pistons with good roller rockers ( shaft rockers are the best) will be bullet proof in any 750 hp engine.
Forged crank. $750
Forged rods. $400
Forged pistons $600
If u tare them parts up with 750 hp u need to find a better engine builder my friend!!!

I really hope this fella gets his boat fixed as I have gave my speed secrets away for free!!!

New hot rodder term originated by 2stupid4U: "OVER THE SHELF CAM!!!!" First time I caught that one reading this crap, I guess a "OVER THE SHELF CAM" must be 1 size bigger or 1 step better than a "off the shelf cam"!!!!

Oh umm was there a point in putting it on this thread cause this fella started it looking for help on his boat and now for some ignorant reason you put a video of my family boat on here??? U really just don't have a life do u. I never clamed to have the fastest boat or the best engine skills but I can help this guy where none of u really can. Unless u buy him a motor of Craigslist (Yeah I bet that's a good one) or send him to some high dollar shop. As u can see my boat runs just fine just the same as his would when done..
47mph ? With your supposed 500hp small block ?

Your too much !

Just found this thread searching as you called bs on me on a tame small block, and guess what, it's 21mph faster than your big hp turd.

I was gonna keep quiet until i found this thread.

In case anyone wants to see what big mouth is up to again, check out this new thread:

Why do I not seem suprised now that a mid 300hp boat has 21 mph on your '500hp race motor boat.

Too funny !
