....so that I can check the compression while cranking it over with the key. No problems, I just want to check it. What compression numbers should I see?

Leak down test would be better but I did a quick compression test. With the engine slightly warmed up I got 90 or just a bit under on all 8. Is that OK considering the big cam in the 525?

Sh!t. Manual says 140#. Either my ancient Mac compression tester is off or I have a problem. All cylinders are equal though. :/ Engine was running strong.

I believe you should disconnect power to high preasure fuel pump and throttle needs to be wide open when testing

Throttle was open. I started a new thread about the low readings.
