Flipped a few boats in the past but i Love the idea of not going all the way over and being able to work on the bottom from the side while standing up instead of kneeling on the bottom, great idea thanks

What keeps the fixture from wanting to squirt off the bow? I would think there significant force trying to push that right off the end?

I am sure he is using the front eyelet and bow light holes to secure the front mount. I was going to make a similar front mount and try my automotive rotisserie but we have work to do to the front eyelet area, we also had to move the boat 200 ft from front of shop to the booth and did not trust the small wheels on the rotisserie.

This is our 3rd winter in a row for this boat, 2 years ago we took the boat from twin 292 6 cylinders with Alpha drives to a single 496 HO with a Bravo drive. Last year we did a custom cooler in the floor, gauges, some touch up and a new trailer. This year its blueprint the bottom, refinish/repair/replace all the wood, new windshield, replace or refinish all the hardware and paint the entire boat with color changes.

Yes. The front yoke is secured at the bow eye mounting point and through the top lifting cleat hole. Both attachment points are structural. I can spin the hull to any angle and it's as stiff as a wedding dick.

All homemade with scrap steel from work.

Brian, are you "blueprinting" your hull?

Yes its the same boat. It was a lot of work with a new transom, stringer change, wiring harness from dash to engine, shifter, custom exhaust and relocated the batteries from bow to engine bay.
