So I am switching from Gil wet pipes to dry thru transom. My question is on my current set up there is a 1" water line on the front of the manifold and a 3/8 on the back. the dry pipes only have the 1" where due I route the 3/8 line?

that 3/8 nipple is their to relieve that section of the manifold,if you plug it you may create a hot spot,,i would weld a nipple on the bottom of the riser/tail pipe like gil did.. example pic.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCRUISER-H...-/190789555739

gill stopped putting the 3/8 pipe thread in the manifolds because they realized they were not needed.
