Lightbulb Everything you wanted to know about Drive height & X dimensions...

After reading some of your posts concerning the X dimension dilema, and seeing the work and imagination some of you have displayed knowing what you were all after, I decided to get ahold of a friend of mine that is the world renouned expert on the issue, and has revolutionized the masterful manipulation of drive height... the famous Howard Arneson. Since I only live 30 miles away, and attend his yearly birthday party at his shop in San Rafael Ca, and have the opportunity to talk with him in depth (no pun intended...lol) about his surface drives and the technical issues surrounding drive height vs. speed, and being able to see his latest and greatest projects in progress, I decided he was the only logical person to answer your questions CORRECTLY! Anything you can't find below, he will be glad to answer if you send him a detailed email with your information filled into his worksheet. This is the nicest, smartest, most humble man you will EVER meet, and will share his knowledge with you if you just ask. Go through all the links on these pages, and you will be a hell of a lot smarter than the majority of Offshore junkies... I hope this helps you all, but if it only helps one of you, thats good a start! Good luck you guys!

Those Arneson Rocker Plates™ are very interesting.
I am having trouble carring the bow for top speed and those may cure the problem.
Im going to give them a call on those.
