Default SBC + Edelbrock Carb Jet Sizes

Just wondering what most guys are running as far as primary and secondary jet sizes... Came with 101's stock for secondary's. As mentioned in an prev post I took out my CP slip in silencers and ran open tips. I picked up 1.5mph (GPS) and ton's of midrange. I also got a bad bog when accellerating hard. I changed jets up to 104's (next size up in edelbrocks carb kit) and lost about 200 rpm's. I figured if I picked up that much on taking out the silencers and also got a bog that I probally went a little lean....Guess not. What should my next step be? Going down from the 101's????? I still have the bog even after changing the postion of the pump lever. It helped some but it's still there...Can I have caused a lean condition on the pump but still be rich on the jets??? Was running without any bogs or stumbles before ditching the slip in silencers...But the carb wasn't dialed in yet I wanted to wait till I ditched the slip-ins and got my shotgun's. So whats the deal?? Can I have caused both conditions by ditching the tips? Any suggestions as far as the pump also???? Im pushing about 360hp @5300..... Thank guys as always.....
