Default Bravo Drive

I recently was putting a new prop on my boat and when I spun the new prop there was a point where it got a little more difficult to spin. Has anyone ever experienced this? My motor whent out so I didnt have a chance to try it after I found the problem, any ideas? As always any help is appreciated as always.

I removed the prop and it was still there, I didnt remove the drive though. I did also check the thrust washer it looked okay but it was brand new when I put the prop on. What do you think is wrong inside of it. It all still turns it just gives a little resistance at one spot.

Drain the gear lube in the drive and check for metal fragments. I'm betting you'll find some.
