My 502 has ported oval port Edelbrocks with 9.5:1 pistons and a ZZ502 cam. I wonder if once I get a few demons sorted if a different cam might get it to ~600hp?

Baja,

What base Edelbrock casting head did you use? Do you have post porting flow sheets?

Second Q: besides being gen 5 vs 6 is there any diff in a 088 and 934 head?
Both my gen 6 502 mag engines had 088's on them when pulled apart

The 990_088_924 castings all share the same port and combustion chamber architecture. The 924 heads are a 26º_ 118 cc chamber with 3/8", 2.180" intake and 1.880" exhaust valves from GM. The only difference is part # 12562925 will accommodate 7/16 accessory bolt holes and # 12562926 are for 3/8".
