Wow, that 600sci cam is pretty lame if those specs are correct.
You will find that not all supercharger cams are ground on the same principles. While yes, wide lobe separations are popular, usually the best choice for most marine supercharged setups, their are circumstances were LSA's of 110 may be chosen, and make more power. Thats usually when the compressor can afford to throw away a little bit of boost. Its not what you'd want for a marine deal with a little 177/250 blower, or with wet exhaust. Also, is there something to a little extra overlap with high boost, to help blow a little fresh air across the exhaust valve to help aid in ex valve cooling?
Besides overlap, generally, you also want an exhaust lobe that stays open for a longer duration. You are packing a substantially larger amount of air in the cylinder with forced induction, and it needs some extra time to get out, to help evacuate the cylinder.
There are certain cams that worked great in N/A as well as supercharged. The 525EFI cam, crane 741 cam, etc.

If I read it correctly , 700sci and the 500 efi are the same cams? What kind of hp would I have to go na with the 700sci cam?
Oh I'm running dry exhaust.
What to,you guy think the right cams is to get 600 na?

If it takes that I will , I have a couple 600 and 1-700 sci cams laying around , I want to use them if I can.
It's my sons boat and I'm trying to get it done for the least amount of money.

IMO, the the 600sci and 700sci cams , are too light for a 516ci, brodix headed deal. Keep in mind max rpm on a 500EFI, was 5200ish.
The 600sci, 575sci, 700sci, were great engines and all, but certainly not dishing out big power numbers. 600hp from a blown 502 is actually kind of embarrassing.
You got 516 cubes, you got brodix heads , you got dry exhaust. Give them a cam they deserve .
