IMO, the the 600sci and 700sci cams , are too light for a 516ci, brodix headed deal. Keep in mind max rpm on a 500EFI, was 5200ish.
The 600sci, 575sci, 700sci, were great engines and all, but certainly not dishing out big power numbers. 600hp from a blown 502 is actually kind of embarrassing.
You got 516 cubes, you got brodix heads , you got dry exhaust. Give them a cam they deserve .

I"m not a cam expert, I have always left that up to everyday professionals. I would call Bob @ Marine Kinetics. If you call him; have your head part# along with flow #s, compression ratio, exhaust type, and rpm window.
