I will do that with my timing light on Saturday if the new injectors (GM 25170301) don't solve it.

I also will have the diacom tomrorow night which will help.

I'm getting so confused lol. Do you guys think the 25170301 injectors from GM are the wrong ones then? It seems like all the numbers you guys are mentioning are related to the TJ 17

Dont be confused they all have one common denominator 50lb injectors@13 psi or close to that and 94/95 454 engine's that use a 30 psi fuel rail.

Gotcha. If these work then we will all have learned a lot. Hopefully they do work, because there is absolutely no info on what injectors replace the VP TBI injevtors. At least from this model, which is pretty common.

25170301 is # on injector. But What is the actual GM or Delco part # ? That is the question.

The #'s I gave above are part #'s...not the # stamped on the injector.

This is what add's to the 5 million # confusion. LOL.

Correct.

If you go to Delco's site via my link and click applicaations, it lists 94-95 454 trucks which use 30lbs, and it also lists 94-95 5.7 trucks which use 10-13psi.

So............maybe GM used a 1 injector fits all for 94-95...in regards to the top selling tbi's...being 5.7's and 7.4Ls.

Maybe we figured something out ? LOL.

And yeh, my head hurts too.

Actually from a few phone calls what i was able to gather they could not get uniform repeatabilty @ 30psi...remember they had to conform to govt epa stds and that was a 5/50 mile warranty std back them (emission warranty) So guess who picked up the ball...marine nice little pkg on size fit's all..no epa std's and high pressure high performance injector's or so the story goes...
