Nothing left to check? VP 5.7GSI wont start - good fuel pressure, good ecm, wiring

I remember in the class and they referred to this twice very strongly because a lot of techs with TBI injectors would install the wrong ones. Volvo made strong points to follow the color codes and made the charts for what color code went with what app and year models for their engines. Just saying and that's why I went to grab this manual today.

BUP - that is awesome. Thank you for digging that out. I will get one more working 301 injector for sure though.
So, now the question is, what next lol. I'm almost positive there is nothing wrong with my original injectors. It all seems to point to the computer and the pulse widths. And since all the inputs to the computer read correctly, but the output appears wrong.... reflash ecm?
IS there a sure fire way to determine the pulse widths are too small?

3857398 Is GM 25170301, which I have. I need to get one more good one, but honestly it sprays the same as my original ones. I personally think my originals are fine. They spray fine, and if you force it to stsrt, it will run and rev nicely for a second or two, when the damn computer narrows the injector pulse width and it dies. The only reason it's running on the TJ'11's is because they flow double the fuel, and my pulse width is apparently half the normal size.
unless you think I'm a fool for doing do, it all seems to point to needing an ecm reflash right? Once that's done, I'm past the point of no return though.

1997 Volvo - letters LK = 1997 Volvo had 2 different set of injectors for that year because they changed things. nothing for the early 1997 TBI is the same for the mid 1997. Nothing. Do not even look at 1997 LK you need to look at EF = 2000 in which is your model
You can look at WT or BY - 1999 0r 1998. They Volvo used the same injectors - same throttle body same fuel pressure regulator but Volvo did not use a cool fuel in the 1999 and back years - they used a VST set up somewhat like what Merc used.
I posted the Volvo part numbers in post 380 for your app - it all matches the mid 1997 Volvo LK model for the fuel TBI side of the coin. Not the cool fuel system in which you had and all stated with Volvo EF models. EF = 2000 year model.

^^^good info^^^
BTW guys, the 575SCI injector is the same as Nunnick's OE Volvo Penta TBI.
A thread I was involved in some years ago, a member (BillR) showed the top of his injectors (same # as Nunnick's Original) and ordered new Injectors from Mercruiser. The Merc decal was over the AC Delco # on the AC Delco box. He peeled them off.
Injector Stamped #'s: 25170301-ACR
AC Delco # on AC Delco Box part # 17113305.
Merc: Note, when available was only available as a 2 injector kit: Merc Part # 853998A1
Here's the thread:

I posted no way this could be rich as the injector is not open long enough to spray the volume of fuel needed. But the other side of the coin is spraying fuel in short blasts / bursts and more of them short blasts.
The fuel injectors are of out of sinc with crank rotation ( piston cycles TDC / BDC) persay. not to get into a long story book about this and I am think out loud - With that being said - it could be a very possible rich condition - the injectors spraying fuel in short bursts but more of those short bursts taking place compared to how they should be pulsed width. Volvo spec again at idle 2 to 3 MS / MSEC.
What does your spark plugs tell - wet / fuel / black or somewhat dry - any heat discoloration ? just asking

I posted before the ECM uses all the inputs to output what takes place. I am still going back to my posts 325 - 329 - 376.
injectors or any circuits to them or the ECM or connections or any grounds related to the ECM
