Voltage drop at the injector hot leads is about 2v when cranking.

So what is the injector lead voltage 10 then drops to 8 volt's???? or 12 to 10?

Whoops, I forgot to do that again today. I meant to check voltage drop at the injectors and at the battery to compare. Last time I checked I only did at the injectors, and it turned out to be a 2v drop. 12.7 at the battery, 12.6 at the injectors while ignition on. 10.6 at injectors when cranking, but I don't know what it is at the battery. I will find out when I put the new injectors in Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully they come in Tuesday and solve the problem.

If you saw 10 volts at the injection lead get your money back from the service company that originally serviced you injectors.

We will see this week. Stuff happens though. They are 14 year old injectors. Although they ran nicely last year, its possible that the solenoids failed.

Again if someone ran 12 volts directly to the injectors to check them - that could be what happened for being bad.

In the meantime - go ahead and check resistance across the injector terminals TBI injector here are 1.25 thru 1.27 ohms.

I checked those yesterday. They came in at 1.6 on the 200 scale.

Not that it is the issue here , but since you educated me on shift interrupt on the Blackhawk drives on a different thread, if figured I would do the same. All Volvo DPX set-ups do in fact have an interrupt.

After cranking. I can check it dead cold too. Would it be higher when cold?

All Fours Winns boat and this boat never ever had a DPX drive installed. All Volvo SX and DP drives do not have shift interrupts.

According to spec 1.25 to 1.27 is the range. But after running or long cranking could be higher. Volvo spec if out of range change the injectors as they state are bad and lists spec of within 1.25 to 1.27 ohms.
