All Fours Winns boat and this boat never ever had a DPX drive installed. All Volvo SX and DP drives do not have shift interrupts.
According to spec 1.25 to 1.27 is the range. But after running or long cranking could be higher. Volvo spec if out of range change the injectors as they state are bad and lists spec of within 1.25 to 1.27 ohms.

If I remember correctly though I checked them when ice cold a few days prior and remembered getting the same reading. I was only doing it again to see if it was the same.

Be careful on the ohms reading deal. Different meters read differently.
To show as an example I just grabbed 10 injectors. Old cores, GB reman, Standard reman, and 2 working one's on a truck here.
Multimeter showed 1.7ohms-1.9ohms between them all.
Grabbed my Fluke meter- every single one showed 1.4ohms.
So...........

Good points. Let's take the preemptive strike here. If the engine still doesn't run on the new injectors, then what? Just buy a new computer and hope that's it lol? Jw what you guys would do.

FYI, my factory ignition module is back in place, becsuse the Sierra replacement was bad out of the box. I can't return it now, only exchange it, so I'm getting a new one. Is there ANY way it could be the ignition module? The whole reason I bought one was because somebody at the marina gave me a tip that the ignition module can cause this.
I should have the new ignition module tomorrow, so I suppose I can put it back in after I try the injevtors if they don't work. Hate to already be assuming, but I haven't had the best luck on this engine so far.

On the GM vehicles with the TBI's, the ignition module (inside the dist cap) triggers the injectors to open. The computer 'keeps them open' for a specified time. When the module goes bad, the injectors won't do what they are supposed to.
Can't answer for the Volvo system.
Edit: easier way to say it. We want spark and fuel to happen per cyl event. So, mag pickup sends signal to module. Module send signal for spark to happen and it sends signal for injectors to fire.
There, better. LOL.
Schematic is for cars/trucks, but take a look at the 12V red wire that goes from/to injectors / module / coil / battery + / etc

Hopefully BUP can get you the diagram for Volvo's. Obviously a MEFI computer can do more than the old truck/car ECU's and thus wiring.

I have the Volvo diagram actually. I know the injectors are getting voltage from the module. The other wires with send the reference signal to the ECM have continuity, so its not a wiring issue. I am pretty sure that if the ignition module is sending a signal, it is good. But I could be wrong. I thought the computer only needs a signal, and then the ECM decides how long to open the injectors, just as you had said.
