496/ho. miss? anyone else?
Getting a slight hic-up at speed, thought it was rev- limit
but it has occurred at less than wot. Not all the time.
checked water filter, cleaned spark arrestor, found
vacuum line,I think, with press in metal fittings that were
not loc tighted, runs over top of motor from front right
to back left. Looking at motor, that stopped most of it
but still an occasional miss. 140 hours, any one else
with this problem. Had it checked out, no codes on the
putor. Was racing a 95 27 at cumberland couple weeks
ago and this happens, had to back off, hate that.

I would check fuel preasure. Put a gauge on it and run it under load should carry 42 psi. I put 80 hours on one with the same thing and nobody could figure out where the miss was coming from. It turned out the small pump behind the fuel filter was bad.l
