Common man, put your big boy pants on, lose those useless for anything but a lame cam springs, get a real duration cam and forgo the next upgrade which we know you will want as soon you get a taste of some speed and horsepower.

4 pages of `I just want a little more power is putting me to sleep!' It`s an 8.1l motor not some 350!!

You can try to sell that I just want a slow reliable boat over a fast one boloney over at www.sailboatsarefast.com nobody here is buying that crap!

Tell your wife you want your man card back and lets go!!!

Bout time! Finally some real truth to the matter.

To funny. I try and convince myself the same thing once in a while but it never ever pans out. **** I port and polish mopeds and gopeds. I've tried the mild engines ONCE in 29 years of boating and my ol man even laughed at me and said "let's see how long this sh.t last".

Once in your blood always in your blood. Costly but only way to roll.

It's only when you get passed like the video above when it really makes the blood boil. Those moments you'd dump your 401k to get back out and find that bad boat. Lol... But true!

Springs are in the works. Cam is something I'll just have to figure out. You have to understand something. I got a hull and a trailer essentially with a couple drives. Disaster-boat was beyond buff able so I just paid for repaint. Cover left off so I just paid for full interior. Dash. Mangled. All new gauges. Between all that and buying blocks, engine kits, etc my wallet is super light by now. I cannot afford exhaust till next season so I must work with what I have. Next season I'm more than happy to pull these terms out and put nice heads and exhaust. Just not this season. Btw many of my friends have fast cats that go a hell of a lot faster than 75-80. So what good is it for me to throw a bunch of power at something that may hit 90 with a crazy amount of money just to still get passed. So back to my original saying. I could give two craps about being the fastest boat. I want a good strong runner. 75-80.

Trust me I like going fast too. I have a 67 GTO with an LS6 turbo and just under 1100hp at the back. I'm all about power. Just not gonna drop thousands for a few mph. If I wanna go fast I drive my car
