Help with trim tab installation (correct angle)

Help.... When your trim tabs are in the full up position what is there angle in relative to the bottom of the boat?
Are they even with with bottom of the boat or are the higher than even with the bottom of the boat?

I think the op is asking about the angle of trim relative to the hull bottom not the height.
Trim tabs fully up should angle up a bit just like trimming a stern drive. Don't know if there's a standard angle but for mine, when they are dead level with the bottom, the gauges read about 3. (7 been the lowest, tabs fully down and 0 is tabs fully up) Depends on the transom angle from vertical but on most boats, I think fully down is rarely used and fully up has little or no effect on the boats running attitude.
