Ignition Boxes
Lots of problems with my new MSD ignition system------keep burning out coils and now the MSD 6M-2l box is dead------Has anyone tried the Maxvolt Marine Ignition box that CP Performance/Hardin Marine started selling a few years back???? Any comments, good or bad would help me out !!!!!.......This is on a 502 carb set up.........

I bought a Daytona sensors CD-1 system. I have not used it yet, but it has great reviews.
I have had an MSD box die on me and a distributor that rusted after a years use to the point it looked like it was submerged in salt water.
No more MSD junk for me!

I also have two Dayton a sensors coming soon from mark Rinda. Aka Mer performance. Says they are the unit to have. Although I first heard of them from. Good old mild thunder. If he endorses them. And Mer. Does to. They got to be good. They have a lot of Kool programming that can be done on timing and such.

I would love to know people's experience with the Max volts products as well.
I need to replace a coil, but there is not much with respect to the specs, but I also need to ditch the MSDs, just lost another box this weekend, good thing I had a spare.
