Tim, didn't someone councel you that a 4.375" crank would provide a bad rod ratio in your short deck block, and that's why you ended up with the 540's?

x 2. I thought your old 565 had 1/8" more stroke.

Edit in: and I and some others brought this up way back when. 3000-4000 posts and 200 threads ago ?

That's 25 more cid than your current 540.

Doesn't sound like much to some , but it is.

It's only seven more than 565.

25 is much bigger than 7.

Weird how the mind plays games.

Huh.

565 is just 7cid's different from the 572.

You think 25cid's should have no real difference, but now you think 7cid's is ?

So.....you starting to get my drift ?

Yes, many people did. This email here Lead me to think my results would be better by a "identical" build... I keep trying to let past be past, but some guys have to bring up the past for me to defend why I did what I did, I was misled... simple as that.

Anyway, not arguing....water under the bridge.

Just don't get how you thought less cubes wouldn't effect anything #1 and #2 you where convinced your cam was too big after 'talking to many people" and now think these same cams are too small.

The cubes matter to a point, but the combo sucking mattered more, vintage Robs 512 made more power then my 540....

You are bring up posts thatbwas well before some serious BBC education, that's all I'm gonna say, back then I listened to 40 people.... battling... and confusing me, now there's like 2-3 people involved and all are identical in advice

I have to be honest I have absolutely 100% zero interest and hashing out what happened so many things have changed between now and then nobody understands anything anymore all I know is I got taken for a hell of a lot of money and a whole lot of grief through the last two years and people telling me what I did right and wrong certainly didn't help the situation because 90% of their device I got was bad. I was led by Bob Madera to believe these new engines would smoke my bigger cubic inch old engines that's all I'm going to say about that that is why I did what I did and it did not work so I'm doing the best with what I have I don't think anybody understands the amount of financial burden this is put on me and my wife just to keep the boat going and a decent direction without completely giving up and selling everything off I keep plugging away at it and nobody can even give me any respect for that at all just bash me all freaking day long. Yes this is a run on sentence and I really don't care, The funny part is many people bashing on me or telling me how stupid I am either don't have boats that run or pay other people to build their stuff at least in the end I still don't know all this myself whether it's good or bad .

Since this is the court of public opinion, lol

SB, let me ask. I have seen you tear Tim apart on his posts, decisions, and overall being on this planet, so...

If this engine package was dropped on your doorstep, what would YOU choose for a camshaft for it, to help solve tims poor speed issue ? We know there is a million things he can change, but thats not in the cards. You seem to be well versed in camshafts and head flow, and induction stuff

I see alot of advice and criticism, but really not anyone throwing out camshaft specs or anything.

Just curious.
