Had a local guy here that had MSD. He was always having issues with idle quality and went through a few boxes in a season. I didn't work on the boat back then so I have no idea how the MSD was rigged. But what I can tell you is that he installed the DUI and the boat ran flawless ever since. I worked on the boat 2 years after he installed the DUI and was able to remove like 10ft of extra wiring in the harness and tidy things up a lot more.

Yes clearance issues going with SC now. I really like those distributors for most any NA build though.

Just curious, yes that was my old Baja, redid it all from gas tank back, after a few years I moved onto cig that had no rot, Baka was a wet mop...

I think your engines are going to respond much better to the new intakes. They look great and appear to match up very well. Did you have to spend much time port matching or where they pretty close out of the box? Good job regardless. Excited to see your gains. You going to dyno both again or just one?
