Funny, that wasnt cam motions take on the issue from what I hear. They advised sending the cam in, to make sure it was ground straight and true after seeing the pictures . 0 taper on lobe.
Didnt someone here say there appeared to be a taper issue after seeing the cam pics ?
They did not say " builder error builder error builder error seruo error setup error" , and they are the ones who ground the cam.

I have called a big talked to Bob and I also called Cam Motion today. My cams are induction hardened 8660 billet steel premium grade cores. There are some better but many not as good. They are better than what the OEM's use for their hydraulic roller cams. After this discussion I am not worried about hardness issues or the cam specs. My boat runs great any it should for a long time.
After following this long thread and others it seems Tim's issues are more than a Bob M issue and more about the engine assembly and also putting all the right parts together to reach his goal. Maybe he should have had someone help with final assembly and checking all the parts to confirm they were all correct.

Let's use some common sense here, do you really think Bob would admit fault when he never has in the past?
No parts supplier would admit a problem with thier product either unless forced to recall it by law.
Good ole Bob hasn't changed one bit...
Not accepting responsibility for your own actions is one of the TOP issues humans have, especially in America. So sad Bob.
