That picture was from a supercharged build. However, its the same things I have seen from a few pro engine builders using afr heads , on N/A engines making in the 575-650 range.

Tim, I'm not trying to spend your money, just trying to help prevent you from redoing all this, and then 50 hours later, dealing with leaking valves. I've mentioned valve seat materials here once I learned about the differences myself, in my dart heads. Nobody really cared to hear about it. After 4 seasons, with the upgraded valve seats from Tucker, my seats did not look bad at all, nor did they leak anything when doing a leakdown.

Oh I know your not Joe, I am just bumming overall, I am still so tempted to pull the plug and part the engines out and buy whatever to toss in it... we have had many convos and you know exactly how I fell about this mess. I hate to not address the possible issue and also hate to spend even more money I really have to kill myself to come up with.
