TRS to Bravo 1 conversion kit... Would there be a market for one ?
A friend of mine has done a few of these conversions.
I don't know all the details , of the conversion other than you can still use your TRS transom assy. He asked me to post this question just to see if there would be a market for it. If so I guess he would start doing it.
Any feedback would be helpful.

if it was cheaper than the other kits i am sure there would be. I know the stellings extension box conversion is VERY pricey.

It may make sense
I would be interested, but would like to see some results, and gains that were achieved. It's kind of hard swalling the expense of the bravo's if you don't gain anything. I posted a question once before about the Stellings Box, and someone replied saying there was no gain, and the X dimension was not correct.

would like to know more
Alfster,
I would like to know more on how you're doing it? Are you using the existing Gimbal Assembly, and putting on a Bravo Bell housing? Adapting a Bravo Transom Assembly to fit in the existing TRS transom assembly hole?

ANOTHER THOUGHT
Why don't we find a way to put (adapt) a Bravo lower on a TRS upper. I blew 6 sets of TRS lower gears on a blown Top Gun, and never hurt the upper section. JB

I'd be more interested on a TRS to Arneson conversion or just a good Non-Mercury drive that would bolt to the TRS gimble. Bravo's seem way to easy to break to be woth spending time and money to convert "TO" one.
