Default 6.2L rpm range

I have a 24' with a 6.2l and a labbed 19p prop im turning 5200-5300. I was woundring if it shuld be down around 5000 or if i should leave it the way it is.
that rpm was with 2 people and 3/4 fuel

I would go to a larger prop and turn it at 5k. The peak hp for these engines is at or around 5k. I think it is actually at 4900 but 5000 has to be close. I would suspect that if you turn a 21 at 5000 you will gain some speed. Ck the prop calculator. Dwight

The RPM range for the 6.2 is 4800-5200 and I believe the rev limiter is 5350. I ran a stock 21p Laser II @ 4950.
