What I did was run the hoses that go to the risers overboard onto the drives. I drilled bypass holes in the thermostat housing to bypass water from the intake hose to the bottom exhaust manifold hoses so that their is water going out the exhaust when the thermostat is closed. Don't drill the thermostat or the motor will run TOO cold at idle. The easiest way for this is to T the lines that go to the risers and run that hose overboard. Try running 1 inch hose and restrict it at the end to 1/2 inch to keep the preasure up.
