Default have a first-gen 502 block.what max crank stroke can be used with this?

have first gen block -short. 502 cu in. carburated model.
what is the max limit crank. stroke can be used in this block?
current crank is same with 454. 4.460 bore(std)

4.375 But Reliability would be an issue 4.250" with a 6.385 long rod is what I would recommend.
