Default Mystery hose in transom assy???

On a Bravo one drive there is a small black hose about the same size as the speedometer hose right close to the hose that supplies cooling. Its attached to the bell housing close to cooling hose and I assume it goes somewhere into the gimbal housing but cant seem to find where. I saw it there not connected to anything and want to put it wherever it belongs. So does anyone know what this is and where it goes??

Yes I do now believe its the speedo hose.. Where do I plug this in? Guess I didn't notice the speedo not working since I only use the speed on the GPS.
