BUP has wire sets for the Merc 496 platform.

I ran 90s era MSD 8.5 super conductor wires for a good 20 years. Still ohm'd as new. Can't comment on current quality of their products.

I am getting 496 wires made in the USA - the exact OEM replacements are getting out of hand with pricing cause the volumes are not there currently like in the past. The new wire sets will be made in the USA. But will NOT have the wire seperators included. . I am trying to keep costs down for the boat owner of the 496 s. The quality will be there as well.
