What's the issue with Taylor wires? Daytona Sensors recommended them, so I gave them a try, no issues so far. They are spiral wound for RFI/EMI control and only 50 ohms per foot.

There was a thread from a few years ago that had these Moroso wires on them:

I orderded a set late last year and found them to be a nice quality set of 8mm "Mag Tune" spiral core suppression wire, which is a "standard grade" Moroso blue wire. They've been running great on mine, and fit was spot on.

BUP sells a very stout, beautiful top notch Moroso wire set that is of the higher grade Moroso wire, and they have additional insulation. So, a couple nice options for us 496 owners out there.

How are they holding up for you? I'm looking to replace the wires on my 496's and there seems to be a lot of options and i'm not sure which ones to go with.

get those they are great wires,much better than stock and you dont need to spent more money,same a the $175.00 wires others sell.

The wires are holding up great. Made in USA, genuine Moroso. Can't beat it for the price. Fit well too.

Does any one have an update on what wires you should purchase... to get to 900 ohms not sure what diameter would be required 9 mm?
I am looking for an aftermarket that makes sense performance and price are both equally important

the boatunlimited.com wires are the best I've seen. They are made in USA to his specific specs. Top notch.

Another alternative is the 496 wires from Scott Performance Wires. The boots aren't as tight as the boats unlimited wires but they are performing well and look to be quality wires too. The Scott are a little less cost than the boats unlimited wires.

Has anyone tried a wire set by Dragon Fire?

I picked up a set for my 496 over the winter, but can't bring myself to install them yet.
