Crank mounted WaterPump bracket?
...............Where the heck can I find/buy a new crank mounted water pump bracket? (you know that cheap-o rod thats mounted to the block and angles out and mounts to the waterpump to keep it from spinning).
Mine broke at the weld point where it joins up to the pump.

if you can't find one cheaply, visit your local welding shop.
Have it chamfered on both sides of the crack and TIG welded with a high nickel filler rod. Then send it to the local heat treatment shop (call and ask a tool & die shop or a machine shop who to go to) and have it annealed (stress relieved).
Most cracked brackets are due to the weld never being properly stress relieved.
The weld should cost $5. The trip to the heat treater should cost $5.

Kaama,
Question , is that for a big block ? And does it also have a circulating pump?
I what to change over from the Merc belt driven pump. It will make my life a lot easier when changing impellers , but Jabsco specs. (gph) are almost half of what the Merc pump is.

mopower. It's a ITT Jabsco 23800-0202. It mounts directly to the front of the dampner pully w/3bolts. The stabilizer bar on mine thats broke goes to a 5/8" bolt on the lower left. (just above the
oil pan lip).
Yes its on a BB engine, and from the doc that came with it, looks like 40gpm @ 10psi discharge rate @ 4000rpm. (If I read the graph correctly). Hose is 1 1/4". The only issue you might have is clearence to the bulkhead, but its not all that much though. To change the impeller is removal of the front cover plate.

Thanks Bob,
I have enough room in front of my crank. I have a 27' Formula with BB's and the back seat is not removable .
To get to my Merc pumps is a real pain in the ass. Best time so far is 1 hour each to change impellers.
I've changed your type before and the are SUPER easy. Plus the fact it's two less belts to worry about with twins.
I called Jabsco awhile back and they gave me 13 gpm@ 2000 as compared to 22 gpm for the Merc belt driven type that they also make. I got new engines coming in the spring (540'S) and that's the perfect time change over (while the engines are out). I just don't want to have to go back after the engines are in . It certainly wouldn't be an easy job.
I try them again with your part number
Thanks Cal.
