Default EDDIE MARINE EXHAUST (color)

OK, my original LONG post on exhaust is:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forum/sh...threadid=36107

Now I am wondering if the EMI's are just a copy of the IMCO(or visa versa), I could care less if so, what attracts me to the EMI's is they are identical to IMCO (same price) and you can pay extra ($75) for color! We were replacing the white Diamond plate in our engine compartment with Red Powder Coated Diamond plate.
So this would be cool...

Anyone here have the Eddie Marine Color/stainless long riser exhaust?

DENNIS, thganks for the data, you being on the board has greatly helped my marine education, along with all you other motorheads....
Thank you.
Bryan

We are a dealer for EMI, and use the system on most of the engines we build, up to 750 HP. The exhaust only works with the stainless riser, and yes, is available in many colors. However, this is powdercoating, so if you're in salt water, you should maybe lean toward the polished, as they hold up best. Feel free to call us, as we sell that system very cheap.

totalmp,
That is an intresting statement that the EMI only works with the SS Riser! Could you be more specific please. I am currently running the EMI with the standard aluminum riser, with a Corsa Switchable system. Are you saying my system does not perform over a stock Merc manifold package?
