Hey guys im new around here and restoring an old kevlar 31 excalibur. The boat was set up for twin bigblocks and trs drives. Im staying bigblocks but converting to bravos. The transom is being filled so i can start over with x dimension. I will be running aluminum 496 exhaust manifolds. Drives are currently set on 33" apart. Does anyone know if twin 454s with 496 manifolds will fit 33"? I heard those manifolds sit wider then the old center riser manifolds. I am converting to offshore mounts and have to set the alignment from scratch so just trying to figure out where to start. Will 33" be ok or will i have to go to say 35"?
thanks for any insite or info!

If you ever want to put tall deck blocks, raised port heads or big headers you need to go 34.5”. I’ve done 34, but with afr heads and sport tube headers they touched

36" centers, tall deck, had to use Eickert / Lightning headers as the spacing was too tight for the Stainless Marine Gen III. Would love to go Stellings, but unsure they would fit. Go as wide as you can, 35"min, 36" if possible, your hands will thank you when changing plugs.
