Yeah, I'll have to change out valve covers. Spent all day mocking up different ways with current setup. 5hrs today and all I got accomplished was drilled out 2 aluminum spacers and figuring out I can't use my current valve covers. Need to strip and paint new valve covers. They will mount on my current bracket on the side of these valve covers and clear my E-Tops.

I bought a set of used 496 valve covers with coils mounted on them, extremely shallow, wouldn't clear anything in a million years BUT as long as these other ones clear manifolds/headers with coils on them , they may be a nice option for you. Ill post a pic when I get time, smitty
Smitty post them when you get a chance.
I also paid Valako for the exhaust spacers and we'll bring them when I dyno. We'll square up then.
Also terminated my Ford TPS to Holley/LS ends.

I modified a Moroso mount and used the exhaust bolts .
There`s a ton of different mounts for coils, most of which won`t work for me but might for you just google em .

These guys make some cool ones

Jason, heres a pic of the factory valve covers that were full height WITH coil mounts. The one on the left is a 496 vc which was talked about working w spacers, etc. I put two bolts in a imco powerflow manifold on a head on the bench and put vc on and it cleared, not 100% positive will clear w coils bolted on it. Your welcome to take them and do a mockup, i could ups them to you or meet up, i have to go to Dennis rogers in cedar springs in near future too

identical in height to the "normal" vc overs used on most these too,, as a bonus, no oil drippers inside that need to be ground out. Now, there is a right and left part number too, prob for clearance for some other part like a ac compressor

So heres a little more info on the V covers I posted, the oem app they go to is a BBC L-21, they use a d 580 coil on the oem application, from what Jason told me, a D580 has mounts acrossed from each other vs swtaggered on a D585. The IGNa1 coils posted appear to have the mounts acrossed from each other too fwiw, 78 each onine from gm (the valve covers), Smitty

A little bit of progress today. I was able to flash the firmware on one ECU today. The firmware on the ECU was V4 64 and downloaded V4 I had on my tablet was V4 110. I was a little nervous about the ECUs. I purchased these early 2018 and they are late 2017 ECUs. I bought the the pair discounted not knowing their condition. They were "NEW" in sealed package when I got them.
When connected to the ECU I was able to get some sensor readings and telling what sensors needed calibration. Next I'm going to figure out how to upload my file I created with all of my engine and sensor parameters.

I could never find V5 software. I didn't search that hard. https://www.holley.com/support/fuel_injection/hp_efi/
I don't know if there would be a big difference with my application. I thought it had more traction control stuff. I do like to have the latest updated software though.
I now found it and just loaded it on my tablet. I'll Flash the ECU tomorrow. You'd think they would update all of their software pages.
