Supercats 130-150 mph, prop rotation?
Props in or out? Current Motion cat runs 130 running number sixes turning the props in. I have the power to run 150 with bigger gears. Not interested in hard turns at 100+ as in offshore racing. In or out at 150 mph?

I have also found turning in to be faster by a few mph. I am worried about swapping ends at 150. Currently running 17x34 Mercury lab 4 blades. Just wondering what other cats are running for setup.

Hey Charlie, how are you making out with the agitator? Do you have any pix to post. Would like to see and hear about the status
Thanks

Every cat I have owned is a real problem docking compared to a V-hull. They will not slide with those two big "rudders" running the length of the tunnel. Turning in will not handle as well at speed as turning out. But thery do seem to be a little faster top end turning in. It seems to me that boats are running in or out depending on preference? After this post I have looked through some past issue of Powerboat and saw pictures of some very fast cats with props turning in.
