Default Dual carb supercharger to EFI conversion

I know efi conversions are done all the time. I am thinking about replacing my superchargers. Has anyone used a downdraft setup? Why? Why not?

I don't see much point on top of a supercharger.

N/A there can be some power increases but that really depends on many factors...throat size, tuned lengths, cam, etc,etc

I think it would be a great conversion, but I can not recommend the FAST EZ-EFI system. Maybe their sportsman that replaces that ECU.

I mainly put that for a picture. Love the look of this type of setup. Just wondering who has done something similar and what problems and issues come along with it. Also, what marine rated systems are available.

Not a lot of choices for stack injection. Although it arguably works the best, it’s the most complex.

There is that cheap Chinese one and then kinsler for $$$$$.

BUP at boat unlimited put one together a few years ago. I doubt any of them would technically be “marine rated”

If it were me, I’d piece together a tunnel ram and dual 4 barrel TB setup with a Holley efi.

Like this? My engine builder ran this setup for 20yrs with Haltech ECU. Now has FAST EZ EFI and is ready to switch back to carbs. I just converted to Holley EFI and so far like it.

What intake is that?

For an aggressive bbc, the profiler tunnel ram is the best out the box manifold there is.

All of this is big $$ to do. What kind of $$ are we talking? I mean whipples are 10k each and I’ll need 2. Right now I have 250 blowers making about 650hp. When it’s time to re-power I’m thinking 540’s but don’t really want to go dual carb. Would like to be more efficient but still make 650hp. Not looking to make big power.
