Default EMI Drive Showers

I know the drive shower issue has been beat to death. Does anyone run the new Eddie Marine Deluxe Drive Shower as noted below:

http://www.eddiemarine.com/Cart/deta...&CategoryID=24

It looks like it would do the job just fine. I have heard Simrek and Innovative have a good product. I saw the EMI's for a pretty good price and they look great.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Ive been told the simerek will mist off at high speed and not shower down on the drive.

Looks like a good deal for 145, no other ones that style are that cheap.

I run that unit on my Fountain and have almost no white chalking on the drive. I had a Checkmate with the halo type shower and the top half of the drive was allways covered with white chalk. I like the EMI unit.

I have been running the simrek on my bravo III for a year now and I have had no chalking at all. Not sure of the misting off at high speeds as I can only get 60mph out of my Crownline 266BR.

The EMI drive shower is nearly, if not, identical to my IMCO drive shower. You may want to price the Imco's also.
I trashed the pick up on mine when I hit a small piece of debris in the water. I tapped the water jacket on the upper drive case and now feed it from there. It puts a chitload of water onto the top of the drive.

Default EMI's

Thanks for all of the input, I have found a pair of brand new EMI Deluxe's for $125.00 a piece. I think I am going to go this route.
