Default 700 SCI running rich @ idle

Hey guys this is a new setup for me took boat out 1st time. 26 RPM 700 SCI Stg 2 @ NXT drive. She popped up on plane super easy the first time and that was idling for about 10 mins and first time out of storage. After a small run stopped and floated some and when I start her up to go she was a touch rich trying to get on plane I could hear it and feel the power was down some. Took a second to clear the fuel out then it ran perfect. Boat acted that way the rest of the short day and even stalled once at the dock pulling it out. Not sure how a tuned 700 sci should run never been around one. Last thing when wiping her down the back of the boat was pretty black from fuel for the amount we really ran the boat was not very much. I did not get any codes but I did order a scanner to look at the MAP sensor and IAC. Love to hear any input or experience from people who have been around the 700 SCI. Thanks guys be safe out there and thanks for your time!!! P.S. Engine has 240 hours brand new plugs, wires and all fuel filters.

HAPPY BOATING!!!!

Once in a while it would throw a map code. Not all the time. Ended up changing the MAP sensor and the IAC just in case. One of the two solved the rich problem. I'm guessing the MAP.

Well great news on my scan tool it had a (210 map sensor idle) code! Was not in live data but in freeze frame and just happend like 2 hours ago and lasted over 3 mins in gear and idling I am sure the MAP is slowly failing! I have a new one on the way will update after installed and water tested.

Thank you Skydog
