Sounds good.

I agree on the ‘collector’ issues. Many dyno shops i see add collector length (ie: just using same diameter as risers / collectors) instead of putting exhaust into terminator box (ie: atmospheric) …….collector length influences power in big ways sometimes. Sometimes not peak power, but many times huge changes in power lower in the curve.

Looks like a 525 copy? Not too aggressive, I’ve heard 525s in Dyno trim can do around 550-560.

I think a cam with more overlap will give up more in the switch to non long tube boat exhaust due to losing the benefit of scavenging. Especially in mid range torque, the peak numbers won’t be off as far due to short exhaust runners getting closer to a scavenging frequency at high RPM.

Got an overlay?

Burying the tank makes sense. I always wondered what shops did in cold climates with external, above ground tanks in the winter time.

I bought some used dyno equipment (that I ended up not using) from a race shop on Texas/Oklahoma border, they used air pressurized water outside to supply water to the dyno brake vs a 7.5 or 10 hp pump.

Not a 525 copy. Just 454's with custom Comp cams.
I thought I had an overlay but can't find it. I'll look harder.

drove 1250 miles round trip to Troy Godfrey race engines in PA this week and bought me a nice set of stationary mufflers for new dyno room for when I dyno race car stuff.

I meant the cam specs. They look similar to a 525 cam or crane 741 iirc
