They're aluminum and currently anodized blue. I'm wanting to get them refinished to look new again.

I went with powder coat on the new aluminum idler pulley that replaced the stock Mercury plastic one. I used candy blue powder and it matches really well. Look at the idler pulley bellow the heat exchanger.

Eddie had that one done in Nashville, but not sure where. I know Travis Powder Coating has the same candy blue, because I have a few other pieces they did for me that match the pulley. I would try them or Stewy's here locally.

Has anyone powder coated mercury 525 valve covers? Mine started peeling so I stripped them last season and left them raw aluminum. They look okay but I'm thinking about powder coating them blue if it will last. Maybe anodizing would be better?

Can anyone confirm if powdercoating effects belt slippage?. I am in the same postition on a couple blower pullies
