Which iron/ worlds did you have? I ran a set of the grumpy jenkins VR 310s years ago on a 540 with blower. Came up way short on dyno, when I had them flowed on the next refresh I found my answer when I saw how close to a stock head they flowed un ported. Sold them and bought AFRS.

They were original 800SC 345 Merlin Heads. The Brodix 327 heads added actually 100HP and 120 Torque which is surprising on the torque since we went up a notch on the cam to 680 so would have probably been higher torque if no cam swap. made 1000 lbs

Can stock iron heads achieve 550hp an on NA setup?

Crane 500EFI had iron rect’s (poss 2.25” intake valve though but not really sure) and 230/236 at 0.050” 114 lsa over .600” lift

So, the crane 741 equivalents should get you there 236/244 112 lsa over .600” lift
