Default transmissions problems

Have had a problem with my starboard transmission from the day I got it, likes to puke out about half a court of transmission fluid, always fill it back up and clean the mess up, can’t find any leaks or anything either if its running and in gear or in neutral, port transmission has the same problem but doesn't do it as much as the starboard does, any help would be appreciated

Mine have done similar and most of the time from being overfilled. It comes right out of the vent and makes a mess. I have bought puke tanks to stop the mess, but I have yet to install them (I don't overfill).

Yes they are sensitive to fluid level however the root cause of the problem is the casting. When we do our upgrades we fix that problem.

Back in the day someone (can't remember if it was Velvet Drive or Mercury) came up with an extended dipstick tube that had a fitting on the side. Then there was a hose attached to the vent that in effect dumped the fluid back into the transmission.

The puke tanks don't hurt but sometimes they just keep filling up as the engine is running.

A half a quart is indeed a mess-making hassle...and in a not-so-friendly place!
