Trailer winch straps
Do some maintenance on the trailer and decided the winch strap had seen better days. Uncoiled the whole thing, 25 feet of it and it has "Tails" not a loop on the spool end. Also it is 2.75 inches wide and I cannot find another replacement that width. 3" is too wide and 2" seems a little small. It is a Fulton-Monsee T2605 winch on a LoadMaster trailer (Ohio). Any Idea's?

The spec for that winch is a 2" wide strap. The strap will flatten out and widen over time a bit. The last few times I replaced a winch strap, I was buying "vehicle tow straps" like this:
2"x 20' 8 Tons Heavy Duty Recovery Winch Tow Strap 20,000LB Towing Rope w/ Hooks | eBay
2"x 20' 8 Tons Heavy Duty Recovery Winch Tow Strap 20,000LB Towing Rope w/ Hooks | eBay

Glad I bought an old upholstery sewing machine. The only part of the strap I've seen go bad is the very end that is exposed to sunlight. Cut off a foot or so and restitch it up. 😁
